OUR PROGRAMS
Care Packages
Care packages are given to many people across the city of Philadelphia to provide them with the essentials to care for themselves. We believe just by having the daily necessities one has the confidence to go to school, go to a job interview or step into society with motivation.
Life Skills Workshops
TRA workshops teach and simplify ways of learning life skills. Participants learn skills by exercising them through scenario role play, discussion, listening and much more. Workshops are usually 2-3 hours long, starting with an introduction, followed by group exercise and discussion, and ending with a short wrap up.
Community Engagement/Stop the Violence Outreach
Our Community Outreach program allows our participants to become involved with community service on a regular basis. We have a variety of programs to choose from for youth and adults. The agency accepts volunteers as well.
Mentorship & Family Development
A professional development program designed to help each mentee through encouragement and support. The program features effective strategies with goals to improve family relationships, build independence, life skills, increase competence and help pursuit higher education or employment.
Employment Preparation
A comprehensive program assisting those in transition with developing a resume & cover letter, providing professional attire to make a great first impression; along with fare to get to and from interviews. Each person is referred to a recruiter at Make It Happen Philly Workforce Program where they have the opportunity to obtain employment.
School Re-Entry
Our School and Re-entry program assists people who are transitioning back into society with the necessary skill and credentials to move on to the next level in their life.

Clothing Voucher Program
Our clothing Voucher Program is designed to equip the individuals that are reentering society with attire that is needed on a daily basis.
